Gary, my first dedicated B&W printer was a 3000 with an MIS Quadtone 
inkset.  It produced lovely prints for its time but didn't have the 
best paper feed, struggling with the heavier rag papers in much the 
same way that the newer, smaller, ones do.  I'm much happier with my 
4000's with K7 inksets.
