I don't think I've found a paper that I couldn't feed at all (Moab Entrada came close) but most thicker papers require a manual assist (push down on it) to get it to catch. If even that doesn't work, you'll need to play the wet the thick paper in windex or water and run it through the printer a few times game. That gets some of the paper dust out.
