MARK- I am looking for a ink-jet digital alternative for line art film negatives. Currently get negatives from Linotronic output which I believe runs a resolution of about 2400dpi. I am looking for something capable of out outputting single color and multiple spot color (trapped w/ accurate registration) rather than continous-tone film negatives. -Dean Daniels goldhorde@... --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Mark Nelson <Ender100@...> wrote: > > Not only does the Epson 3800 make great black & white prints, bit it > also makes the best digital negatives of any current Epson printers > for alternative processes. > > Mark Nelson > > www.PrecisionDigitalNegatives.com, PDNPrint Forum @ Yahoo Groups, www.MarkINelsonPhoto.com > > On Dec 30, 2008, at 8:49 AM, "Antonio Fernandez" > <tlaloc_aif@...> wrote: > > > thanks for the feedback (detlef_g, Antonis and Platinum Jim), good > > information to consider. i have seen numerous photos in the black and > > white photo mag using epson 3800---beautiful. > > > > i live on a farm and can not use traditional processing techniques > > because i have a septic tank. so i need an alternative; scanning my > > negs and digital printing unless i do alternative processing printing > > using the sun (abundant in arizona). > > > > again, thanks for the feedback. > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
