An option might be print at Costco.
I get good results and a reasonable price.

Subject: [Digital BW] Newbie Question

First, I apologize for the basic question but I am trying to help my 14
year-old son who has decided to start shooting digital B&W in addition
to color. We have discovered that our Cannon IP6600D does not do B&W
well. We need to get some prints done quickly for an
application/portfolio he is working on.

Should I invest in another printed dedicated to B&W or head out to a
print shop of some sorts? Any suggested links, search terms or other
suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
