Re: Installing MIS UT-14 Inks on an Epson 1400

2009-01-10 by Matthew Newhook

I had exactly that problem when I got my set of UT-14 cartridges. There was no note in
the box from MIS. The first bunch of prints were totally messed up and I was very
depressed. After removing the tabs the carts work like a charm. Although I must say so far
I'm disappointed in the number of prints - At this point I've gotten perhaps 8 8.5x11 and
20 6x4. The printer reports I can print another 8 8.5x11 before its out of ink!

Regards, Matthew
