Digital BW, The Print

I have been experimenting with different B&W tones using the ABW driver.
When I set the tone to Warm and Light, I have noticed that no yellow seems
to be used, at least, after many prints my yellow cartridge is still showing
full. When I set the tone to Neutral and then adjust Horizontal and
Vertical each to -15, I see yellow being used. What's up here ? Has anyone
else noticed the same phenomenon ?
