The one thing I could imagine Epson being able to do, based upon their success with their color pigments, would be to make a BW pigment inkset that would print well on matte and semi-gloss papers, thus yielding a nice Dmax advantage over current pigment inks. However, they'd have to be able to get around the metamerism issue, which would really be apparent in a monochrome inkset. But I'm with you Jer, just say "no!" to chips. Todd > Too Late!
