Hi Paul. Why don't you try using your profiling package -after- your curves. It sounds like you've pretty much limited and linearized the printer/ink/paper combination with the curves. That should give your profile software a much more stable platform to work from. In essence you're just using the Pshop controls as a RIP. That approach worked very well for me a few years back, before I retrieved my spectro from storage and was using scanner based profiling.
