Recently my LM cart in my R2400 printer started skipping, so I decided to go with refilling the original Epson carts using MIS procedure which uses the Epson cart's fill hole on the bottom and the exit hole also. Inserting a syringe into the fill hole which has been opened and fitted with a filling device and inserting another syringe into the exit hole to catch the overflow ink and foam I proceeded to complete the operation successfully. Placing the refilled cart into the printer and running a couple of test patterns, I saw the LM was still not firing, at which point I put the old cart back into the printer. That cart is the MIS replacement carts that are clear and I could see that it was full also. I downloaded a LM purge image and ran it through the printer several times with no success. No ink is coming out of that particular nozzle. I had this happen with an old Epson 1280, which led me to the R2400. Has anyone had this problem and successfully solved it. Please respond.
