Try turning it off, unplug it, plug it back in, restart and see what happens. If it comes back, try ignoring the warning and print anyways. The R220 warning basically said you were not using Epson ink. The proper response is, yea...so what;) If the response is that it can't recognize the cartridge at all (wrong cartridge) it may not be seated correctly or the cartridges may be in the wrong slots. Remove it and reinstall and then go through the shutdown, unplug routine. There have been some occasions with bad chips out of the box from MIS but haven't heard the complaint for a while. Good luck.
