OT: me and Yahoo (again)

2002-02-12 by Sam A. McCandless

So I signed up for this list again. Or rather tried to, only to have
it shortstopped by Yahoo, which had enough sense to realize I was
already signed up to get mail at "samcc@..." under a different
"profile" (which it did not reveal). It then offered to collate all
my memberships under my new ID. I agreed and then could get into the
list's files with my new password. Which even I could remember for a
few minutes. So, if the e-mail keeps coming, I'm all set and won't
whine about Yahoo again soon. I agree that it's a PITA, but it's
free, and that's something, although I'd cheerfully pay for this list.

Thanks again to those of you who sent me the test file I needed even
before I could get untangled and to Antonis and Martin, both of whom
offered to get me off the list once if I ended up on it twice.

Sam, who might appear now as "samccandless"
