Hi Clayton, the figure of 178 deg was got from this (admittedly brief) article: http://web.me.com/thecolourlady/CM_Site/Knowledge_files/TPM183_LCDMonitors.pdf My desire for a wide viewing angle may be exacerbated by the fact that at present I'm working on a laptop PC with no external monitor - so I may have less than a 170 deg viewing angle at present. However, the dedicated graphics monitors seem to be at 178 deg.
