No, the MIS UT14 inks are fine in the 1400.  I would recommend you 
stick with them.

Not that I am aware of.

I'm not sure of that.  The HP PK black only I tried had rather low 
refective artifacts, but that is probably due to the black only 
printing method.  The dilute HP inks seem to have the usual amounts 
of reflective artifacts.

I suspect that the HP pigments offer some benefits in some 
circumstances, but it's really too early for me to recommend them in 
the way I'm using them.  It's definitely experimental.  If you have a 
system that is working for you, I'd stick with it.
