Yes, especially on wide format monitors.  You can look left and right
a relatively larger amount without seeing what appears similar to a
shift in gamma.  Same thing for up and down movements of your head. 
You will of course eventually move enough to start seeing a shift but
it takes a deliberate shifting of your position.  The difference
between a laptop and this monitor should be very satisfying!

This monitor has an amazing price. The one thing I don't know about is
how the E-IPS panel differs from the other flavors of IPS.
