If you are not worried about archival then it is not a problem. A couple other issues you might run into over time is that you may need to replace the mat every now and then since it may buckle over time and depending on where you are hanging them you may need to worry about finger prints. Another option to consider is non-glare glass or acrylic. It is much less expensive than anti-reflective but it can cause a slight loss of sharpness (excessive loss of sharpness and fuzziness if you get a low quality version).
