Ken, I hate putting glass over my photos. For the prints in my house, I just print each image on a standard size sheet of paper (usually 18x24), leaving enough room on the edges to include a really wonderful digital mat effect that I found in Scot Kelby's Photoshop CS3 book. As long as I let the print float in the frame (with a foam core backing board) and not be locked down with pressure from the back side of the print, the print stays relatively flat over time. I do not mind at all a slight wave in my prints because I use Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper. This paper gives me a wonderful sense of a third dimension in the print...thanks to the mat surface and the lack of glass over surface. I hope this helps.
