Digital BW, The Print

Well after I finally got rid of the microbanding....about 5 purges 
and 4-5 CMYK purge prints.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to work around the CMYK workflow. I 
don't have a full version of Photoshop...just LE. No doubt there are 
threads relative to this, but I haven't seen them.

Any suggestions?
