It became clear that two channels, the Cyan and the L Cyan were the culprits. Before loading Epson carts back into the printer and taking it in for repair, I did an auto head alignment. I wasn't expecting much because I had recently done an alignment just for general maintenance. Wrong! Problem solved. Dodged a bullet. Harry
