This may be an apples and oranges topic, and probably not possible - I accept the fact, and am happy, that these two worlds are different. But I'd like to know if it's possible, in our digital b&w world here, to approximate the look of that darkroom combination. In fact, it took me a while to find a mat board, Spanish White, to come close to the Ilford paper. Am now printing digital b&w using a 3MK setup with an R1800 and so far I'm pleased with the results. Moab Kayenta and Lasal match that paper and mat board pretty well, but I'd rather switch to a non-OBA paper. Am very interested in the Premier Art Smooth 270, have never seen it "in the flesh" however. Have also tried Epson Premier Art Scrapbook, but too warm.
