Re: plugged 1200

Lara,

This is a perfect PR story. If you told this story to EPSON they
might send you a new printer or repair yours. I have a friend who is
at a PR firm and they made a very big deal about a lost watch which
was recovered by a diver 5 years after it was lost. The back of the
watch was inscribed with the name of a person who the diver thought
he knew. To make a long story short, the divers friend was not the
person on the watch. But the friend was introduced to this person
because of the coincidence of their names while he was visiting from
out of town. The person was located. They lost the watch from a
sailboat while on vacation. It turned out to be a Rolex and Rolex
used this story in an advert campaign several years ago after they
took in the watch for repair and cleaning. They did the repair and
cleaning for free in exchange for a photo of the owner and his story!
