Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I just did a text print and in the dark (almost solid black) areas, there was a strange streaky appearance, which I've never had before.

So I did a print of the same area in the Entrada I used to use, and the problem wasn't there.

I like the Alise, but my printer (2100) doesn't.

I've uploaded 1600ppi scans of the problem area - the Alise and the Entrada - and if anyone can tell me what this looks like, I'd really appreciate the input.
