Your first comment brought this suggestion to mind, the later one confirmed it, you sound like a potential customer for a Digital Hasselblad. The HD39 back captures 39MP,and there are some fantastic lenses available for it... with simpler lens configurations than 35mm style DSLR lenses, the image quality is less effected. There is the question of price, however... C.
