Himm... I bet you don't paint your nails either - I'm just kiiidddiiinnggg!!!
The tiny amount required will not affect your health.
Duco is removable with acetone - fingernail polish remover. Acetate (Duco)
cement can't hurt you once it is dry any more than paint will. Acetone will
devolve the cement once it dries. Conservationists, I am told, like stuff
that is removable without affecting paper yet is water-proof.
