It's been a while since I sent an email to promote the little windows photoshop plug-in I have been coding. The plug-in was originally made to create digital negatives for alternative processes. The issue was that I could never find an efficient plug-in that would give me the best black & white conversion from a color image without spending a lot of time in front of the monitor. Podnc will give you (I think) the best B&W output for your color image. The main thing I now have included is its own print engine. Podnc has now a calibration photo (under the file menu) that will allow you to correctly match the brightness of your print to your monitor by adjusting the gamma value in the print dialog. When you load the plug-in, if you press the R key, you will have a full B&W preview of your image. If you need more control, a slide in/out panel on the right of the screen will give you more options. I hope i am not offending anybody by this post but I think some users may be interested. If you have any questions specific to the plug-in, i would appreciate if you ask them in a private email not to spam this list. You will find a download button under the podnc menu on my web site.
