Re: [Digital BW] Podnc Black & White Plug-In

2009-07-18 by Le Globe Trotteur

Mark, here you go:
Podnc is a windows photoshop plugin. It has been tested with Cs2,Cs3 and Cs4 on windows 2000/XP and Vista.
This plug-in has 2 purposes.
1) easy conversion of a color image into a B&W ones. Check this web page to give you an idea.
http://www.pierreoliviertavernier.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=52&Itemid=128
In the plug-in, you work on your color image to add layers, dodge, burn...When you release the mouse, the algorithm regenerate the best B&W optimization for your color image. You can have a full screen preview by pressing the R key.
The right-mouse button will give you access to all the main function.
Podnc has its own printing engine. If you go under file-->podnc-->calibration you will be able to print a test photo to match your printer by adjusting the gamma value in the print dialog.
Podnc also supports loading and saving POdnc and Photoshop curves and has presets film toning capability.
2) easy creation of curves for alternative processes. I will not go into details on this point because it is not this forum's main topic.

You can download the plug-in by going directly here:
http://www.pierreoliviertavernier.com/index.php?option=com_weblinks&view=category&id=2%3Apodncsoft&Itemid=23

An uninstall application is included if you want to remove it at any time. Try it, try it and you may...
Let me know if that answers most of your questions.

If my B&W plug-in is better than any others, I am not sure if I should be the one answering that. Judge by yourself.
Install the plug-in, go under filter in Photoshop, load the filter and press the R key to see the full preview then let me know.
Sincerely,
PO

  PO
The first time you posted this several months ago you seemed to get
plenty of feedback about what exactly you are selling, it was not very
clear. I just went to your web site and it is still VERY confusing on
what you are selling. Could you provide a detailed explanation of what
it is, what it does, what are system requirements, and why it would be
better then all the other plug-ins (if that is what it is?) out there?
