Digital BW, The Print

Hi guys,

Well, first off, this forum has a good reputation and was recommended by another forum on printing issues.  So, just to encourage you all.

I have recently bought a CISS system for my canon pixma ip4000 (which is a great printer and I love and I'm never getting rid of).  I am having big problems printing the colours.  When I first installed it, I printed out a black and white text documment of significant length.  Ever since then, my black works great.  If I do a cleaning cycle on the printer, and then print anything with colour, it works great.  But once left overnight, some colours wont print properly.  At the moment it is yellow.  I can easily clean the print heads again and use the printer for today and it will print fine, but I can guarantee in a day or two one of the colours wont print.

For example, I have just done one cleaning cycle, and done a nozzle check and they are all printing perfectly.  But tomorrow, or the next day it won't be like that. 

I am wondering if the reservoir tanks need to be raised just a tiny bit to help with the gravity feed.
