Digital BW, The Print

Hi everyone...
I print BW using a Epson 1160 with MIS inks, and I have recently moved from PC to Mac. I installed the printer driver downloaded from the Epson site(version 1.29), and I use Ligthroom 2.4 to print. MacOS is 10.5.8. Profiles were re-maid with Spyder3Print and PrintFix colorimeter. 
What happens that when I print from Lightroom or Photoshop, using the profiles or even with Printer Management, prints come out with very thin white lines, like if some ink nozzles were not being fired. I also notice that the printer prints very fast, like it was in draft mode. If I print from iPhoto, it prints slowly,and the lines disappear 99%. When I printed the Spyder3Print Patch Target, it printed ok too. Tried with Matte and Luster paper.
It looks live a driver problem,right? I uninstalled the printer and installed again, just the same happens. Maybe something related to ColorSync?
Any clues? I'm lost here...
