The old MIS FS & PiezoBW that many of us used back in the days of the 3000 used K, 30% K, and then two light inks that are closest to Y (2%) and LM (6%). If depends, in part, on where you want the dots to appear. You probably can't get a totally dotless print from a 3000, but for display sized prints they did a fine job (paper handling issues aside).

In light of the non-linear response curve as one approaches the 100% K, I might try replacing C (30% K) with M (18% K), which is the LK density. I will cover your dark midtones better, with the possibility that the starting of the K will be less well masked.

Be sure to have a strategy for agitating the dilute Eboni. The rubber seal of the old style carts don't like being re-inserted into the printer lots of times.

Good luck with the old 3000.
