Hi Clayton:

Most USA labs that work on fiber base silver gelatin prints tend to be expensive. The quality is good, however you can do it yourself for much less. In other words, you can make your own negatives from digital, using QTR or any other system, and produce a continues tone negative that can be use for silver gelatin printing, or any other alternative process including but no limited to Platinum and carbon transfer prints. There is a lab call Dalmatian which is very good. If you are interested in learning about making your own negatives, or reading about the process, please contact me off line, I will help you the best I can. I have been making fiber based gelatin silver prints and platinum prints this way for many years. Good luck.
