Piotr, 1. Light a candle and put by your printer 2. Say a prayer 3. Spray some windex (I prefer Iso Alcohol) on the parking pad (sponge) (and saturate it...it should look wet) 4. Turn off printer so the head park and rests on the pad 5. Blow out candle 6. Go to sleep and check it out in the morning. Good luck, Steadman

Subject: [Digital BW] Bye,bye perfect nozzle checks?
Here is what happened,
I have been now printing over a month on my 1160 with a newly
installed CFS and MIS VM inks.
I already forgot what a bad nozzle check can be. I got spoiled by
perfect looking ones.
Until today. My bottles are about half full and I had to reset the
switch in the color ink again,
after I did it according to the instruction(I did it before also, an
everything was fine) I printed a photo and it came out really bad.
I looked surprised and ran a nozzle check. It was not very clean in
the color positions. I had to ran 3 cleaning cycles.
After the first one everything became nice again, except for one line
in the third colorposition. In the second row one line seems to be
missing on all my nozzle checks. Exactly in the same place. I printed
a picture and repeated the cleaning cycles(3) Nothing.
It is still missing. I wonder what could this be? Did I make a
mistake when I was resetting the Ink switch? i really hope someone
wil write and say:
It is ok, don't worry it will go from itself, but I have a strange
feeling that it is not ok. Can anyone help with an advice?
I am a novice for fighting with nozzles. I have a set of Windex but
really hate to use that.
