I print B&W on my 1400 with Eboni6 inks on matte paper. I wonder if there is any way to print a B&W on my R1900 using something like Galerie Gold Fibre Silk, Harman Gloss FB or RR Ultra Pro Satin and not get noticable color cast? R1900 loaded with Inkjetfly pigment ink. Anyone use a similar set-up??

Thanks but I have my 1400 set up for that. I was just wondering if the 1900 would print a respectable B&W.

Have you checked to see whether there are any QTR curves for that printer with the papers you are interested in (or similar ones)? If there are then that is probably your best route if you don't want to change the inkset. David Whistance

You could try a black only print using QTR - it will be very warm and may exhibit banding. You could counter both by firing a little cyan in there - print longevity will not compare with your eboni six however --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Tom" <tpgarrett77@...> wrote:
