Canon PIXMA MP 8150/6150 for B+W only prints

Hello Can anybody please tell me whether the new Canon A4 Pixma MG8150/6150 WLAN printers are suitable for B+W only printing, preferrably on matte paper. - If not; is there a suitable EPSON WLAN A4 model around??? I used B+W only printing with an EPSON 1160 way back and now with an EPSON 2100/2200 (just using the blacke matte cartridge and 2880dpi) Print medium "Epson Archival matte" oder "Hahnemühle2 FineArt rag papers matte.
