OK, that worked, thanks all for humoring me. Now, why didn't my reply to a thread show up? I tried about three times. Is there a time limit? Thanks Paul, I have to confess I really don't understand the protocol on Yahoo groups. I believe my e-mail address here is paulmwhiting@.... But I never use that... my day in, day out address is paulwhiting (no middle initial) at the domain of my ISP. When I signed up for this group, I didn't know how to configure myself, and somehow it ended up as paulmwhiting@yahoo.com. Should I change that to my everyday e-mail address? But what does my Yahoo e-mail address have to do with not being able to post a reply to a thread? I did initiate a new post, as a test. and then posted a reply to that - and it worked! This must seem very basic stuff to you and the others... sorry! Paul, I found the problem. My Yahoo! mail account was deactivated because I hadn't used it for a few months. I reactivated it, and just now sent a msg from my regular every day e-address to my Yahoo address and it didn't bounce. Want to try again? Sorry for this...
