Digital BW, The Print

It's been awhile since I visited here. Hope everyone is well. This is a great forum for anything printing related.

I have a wide format printer, which I use for most of my photographic stuff, but my old, trusty Epson 2200 desktop printer finally bit the dust. I need a new desktop printer and would like some suggestions.

1) I use a desktop printer mainly for printing reports, internet pages, and non-photographic quality stuff. My large format printer works for "most" of my photographic needs. It needs to do color and B&W.

2) Having said that, it would be nice to use my desktop printer for photographic printing on small jobs, as a backup for my large format printer, etc. I don't want to pay a fortune for this capability, and I want a "reliable" printer that doesn't clog a lot. 13x19 format would be nice. I also don't want to spend a fortune on ink cartridges for this unit.

I'm on a Mac platform and use all the typical software. I'd appreciate your suggestions and experience.
