Anyone use the Epson refillable DAMPER carts for the 1400 from Inkjetcarts.com? Impressions please.

I have used this system on my 2880 and it is by far the best
refillable cart system that I have used and I have used many of them!

I have also installed one on my 1400 but it is currently filled with Jon
Cone's red stuff for storage.

This caviat...Follow the instructions that are given!!! don't reinvent
the wheel.

Thanks for the input William. I've got 2 1400's with CIS's. One is
giving me more trouble than I want.
So I'm thinking of returning to carts. The Injetcart damper carts seem
to be the most sophisticated I've
seen so far and the price is right. Happy printing.

Dear Marvin,

BTW the Jon Cone's pink stuff is properly called PizoFlush and he sells
cleaning kits that are the bomb. This stuff will unclog almost anything.
When I have to let a printer sit for a long time or when I mothball it I
fill a set of damper carts with this stuff, do a couple of cleaning
routines and put the printer away. When I come back, say 5 months
later, I re-install the ink carts and I am up and running right
away....NO WASTED INK!!!

FYI get a package of rivets from MIS to plug the output ports of the
damper carts for storage.

Cheers

I am using inkjetcarts.US (not .com) damper carts on three printers and
have had no problems. The printers are a R1800, WF635, and CX9400. Highly
recommended. (inkjetcarts.com is an unused domain)
