Digital BW, The Print

I have found a low mileage older printfix would it be usable with current systems Win 7 PS 5 etc. The box says win 98 2000 and XP. Is the newer Spyder 3 system a better choice. If I get the Spyder for the monitor cal would this be usable with it or should I get the Spyder Studio Pro SR which does both Monitor and Printer in the same pre packaged system.

I am starting from zero and will need to put an entire B&W system together. and do not need to get something I will need to buy because it is too old.

I just answered my own question I found a compare page and it mentions sensor size, sensitivity, and accuracy as well as the speed of the calibration and recalibration process. I suppose now I have some convincing to accomplish I should have known less than 25% of the cost of the Spyder 3 Elite there had to be some negatives. That and from 2002 it might not be optomized for todays LCD's.
