Jim,
> Paul: If I want to have all my six channels "firing" as you propose, but with the K, LK and LLK curve, how to I program QTR to do so? I do wish to retain my use of QTR.
The easiest way is to copy the curves from the inks in your current profile to the new inks that are in a "toner" channel. Where there are now 2 inks, cut the ink limit in half for each. Where there are now 3 (the third in the other toner channel) cut the ink limits in thirds.
I prefer to go a bit further and change the overlaps in the toner channels to have the inks start at slightly different places.
You can try several different QTR arrangements and see what works the best.
Of course, if the 3-ink setup is working so well that it's now worth messing with more inks, you can also just fill the empty spots with clear fluid (see the C6c mix at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Ink-Mixing.pdf, page 5.
