I have not experience with the commercial printing technology you are accustomed to. We mostly try to be sure the image on the monitor can be replicated on the paper. If you can achieve the look you want with a grayscale file in Photoshop, they we can come fairly close in the printing of that image. And is there a Pantone ref/RGB or Lab value for standard Epson LK and LLK? > I don't use Epson LK and LLK, but there are probably Lab A and B values for them that can be found.
