Anyone familiar with the continued availability of the above paper. It is still listed on Premier Imaging's website but it's not available from the usual sources (B&H, Atlex, etc.) I like the paper a great deal but will need to re-profile for two different printers and would prefer not to if it's been discontinued.

I don't see an "out of stock" notice at http://www.atlex.com/shop-by-brand/premier-art/fine-art-200, but if they say there is none, try calling or contacting Photo Warehouse (the retail arm of Premier Imaging) info@ultrafineonline.com, 800 922 5484, www.ultrafineonline.com If they do stop producing it, Epson Hot Press Bright is another option to consider. I, frankly, concentrate more on the Epson Hot Press papers now due to their wider distribution, better dmax, and presumed higher quality. I've had trouble ordering it over the years from Atlex, but I did eventually find it one time at the Photo Warehouse that Paul mentions. I didn't realize their connection with Atlex. However last April I ordered some Premier Art Fine Art from Atlex without any trouble. But that's some time ago of course. Paul, do you have profiles for the Epson Hot Press for the R1800? Or are the Premier Art profiles close? Being an Epson paper it might load more easily in my R1800. The Premier Art gets a little fussy sometimes. That paper was not out when I was working with the 1800. I suspect my general 3-MK curve and profiling approach will work fine on the paper, however. You might also just try the Premier Art Smooth Hot Press 325 curve. (I have no idea where Epson is buying its Hot Press paper, but I would not be surprised if there is a connection among these papers.) Paul www.PaulRoark.com > Or are the Premier Art profiles close? UK and Dutch distribution so far I think, no US. I do not have the Premier 325 gsm sample but the 270 gsm differs more than the Papergraphics compared to the Epson HP -- Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst Dinkla Grafische Techniek Quad, pizografie, gicle www.pigment-print.com

Paul R., > You might also just try the Premier Art Smooth Hot Press 325 curve. >(I have no idea where Epson is buying its Hot Press paper, but I would not be > surprised if there is a connection among these papers.) Come to think of it, some time ago didn't you tell us that Epson Scrapbook paper was the same paper as Premier Art FineArt 205? So perhaps there are other connections as well. Paul W.

Hey Robert- I just spoke with Premier Imaging and they told me it's not discontinued and that the Epson Hot Press is not the same. They mentioned that the have Natural White and Bright White. (w/obas) Cheers, Charles ________________________________

Another source of these papers is inkjetart.com: http://www.inkjetart.com/ It looks like they have redone their webpage recently (which wasn't so great to start with), and I can't find the Premier Art Smooth Hot Press papers right now. But, I bought some a couple of months ago, and they probably still cary them. It turns out that they are located in my city, so I can avoid the shipping costs. I did find a hundred sheets from Adorama and it's on its way, so that makes it worth re-profiling for two different printers. I think I was overly concerned because I couldn't find it as readily as a few years ago.
