Getting a Epson 9890 - Eboni -8 + GLOP + need technical help on printer issue

2013-03-11 by chen.benedict

Hello guys.

After working my butt off for months at my day Job I going to get a 9890 Epson!

I am now using 1400 with Eboni6 on Red river rag paper.

But my work now needs more Dmaxs Thinking of lustre or bryta papers

Thinking of using Eboni-8 + Glop in 9890

Is it feasible?

Will try with the 1400 maybe.

Also I like to know where I can get

1.Epson Service Manual
2. where to buy Print Heads online if I ever need to change it.

I got to do servicing and maintenance on my own cos unlike US where i live using 3rd party ink voids warranty

Please feel free to let me know what you guys think! or advice!

It takes a huge amount of glop to turn the 100% MK glossy. Also, dilute
eboni on glossy paper is very warm. I would not go that route.
