Photoshop CS5 on Parallels7

I an effort to work around printing problems with Mountain Lion I have CS5 and CS5 Bridge loaded on Windows 7 on Parallels 7 on my Mac. Bridge recognizes my external drive with My Photo Library, but Photoshop will not. Therefore it is impossible to work on my images. Why does Bridge work but not Photoshop? Has anyone faced this problem?
