This isn't a big deal since I can only see it in the mid tones of a black and white print viewed from an oblique angle with light coming from the opposite angle. Still, is there something I can do about it? I'm using a Cone inkset in an Epson 4880 printing at 240dpi. -Lew Schwartz [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

On the HP Zs the overall gloss enhancer choice and a high load of it, does reduce it. Extra spray varnish later on does not help. I think the Epson inks do better right on.

Hi Lew: You can lightly spray the prints with PremierArt Print Shield Spray or a similar spray like the one linked to in this article (Hahnemuhle Protective Spray)that I wrote on the subject: <http://www.adorama.com/alc/0008393/article/100-in-100-Spray-Prints-to-Extend-Longevity> All the best, Andrew Andrew Darlow Editor, The Imaging Buffet http://www.imagingbuffet.com Author, 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques: An Essential Printing Resource for Photographers - http://www.inkjettips.com and Pet Photography 101: Tips for Taking Better Photos of Your Dog or Cat - http://www.PhotoPetTips.com http://facebook.com/andrewdarlow
