Refillable cartridge filter replacements

Refillable cartridge filter replacements

2013-06-05 by Lew Schwartz

I have a set of older Inkjet Mall refillable carts, and it seems that the
air filters are becoming clogged due to my shaking the carts once a week or
so. I've tested out soaking one in water and, slowly but surely, the ink is
washing out. It looks like this process will take a day or more so .... my
question is where can I get a new set of filters to switch in & out while
another set is soaking?

Hi, for cleaning filters you can use this same solution as for printerhead
cleaning, is. Windex (with ammonia) in US. In Poland i use ammonia window
cleaning spray.

Lew,

The filters are only really needed if you live where there is considerable amounts of air pollution (such as in many of the major cities of China). No need to use them here in the USA. We do not actually recommend that you install them.

Thanks, Jon. Does pulling the filters break the potential vacuum as well as
pulling the plugs?
