4800 Replace Ink Crtg

4800 Replace Ink Crtg

2013-07-24 by Lew Schwartz

Getting this message (among some other strange ones) with a 1 on the second
line next to the non-Epson cart ink graphics -- during a seemingly endless
power clean cycle. What's up? Assuming the 1 means the black cart, it was
working fine 2 weeks ago and has plenty of ink.

Power cleaning takes a lot of ink. They are flushing the system with it.
You may have an MK cart that is too low. (In the 4000 I use with dyes, I
have clear base in the MK slot. I use only the Noritsu K in the PK slot
with dyes.)
