Every single time I fire up the 1400, whether it has been off for days or just overnight. The Black channel (100% Ebony) is blocked and I have to soak the nipple in Windex and sit the cartridge on a paper towel with Windex in it, for a half hour or so. Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do about it? dk

Could be a bad 1400. The capping station may not be sealing correctly. Mine go for months before the Eboni shows a blocked nozzle. That said, the higher load Eboni MK is the first to be affected by drying out. Check and try to clean the edges of the capping station.
