R3000 BW inks and color ink swapping i need some advice on workflow

Hello guys

I am a periodic printer maybe once a month and I print in bulk so one short 30 to 40 13 by 19 or when a project is finished..

I was thinking could 1 R3000 share different ink sets. From what I understand is that flushing would need epson maintenace software and almost 15ml of ink. Assume I am ok with that...

would there be any adverse effect if I do the following:

I have 3 sets of Carts:

BW, Color , GLop(for storage)

Say

Next Month I need to print 30 color and 40 BW

Put in the color > Flush out glop> print color> Flush out color with Glop> Glop coat color prints> Flush out glop with BW > print BW > FLush with glop and store.

My worry is mainly would there be staining(seen this with 1400 but using clearbase) ? Reason being I use glop as a overcoat and possibly as a toner?

also is " Flush out color with Glop" redundant?

Since my BW inkset has 2 glop slots.

Thanks!

Hi I read about it at peiography

it says something along the lines that the ink carts sit static with tube to the print head so head cleaning will not flush out ink in tube unless using epson maintenance SW. Plus issues of staining. so... a lot of ink waste.

hmmm

I'll make the plunge for r3000. this week . and test this out . will swap my 1400 back to dye. or just keep eboni6 =)
