Digital BW, The Print

Any ideas on when or what the next generation Epson printers will 
be?  I am considering the Epson 1280.  However, I understand that 
Epson has been introducing new technology about this tme for the 
past few years.  WWith Canon trying to gain some market in this 
area, I expect Epson to provide some compelling offerings. I welcome 
any links, info or comments.
