Hi,
I have no problems printing from Windows 10 with my usb connected epson 1290, R300 or wifi connected 1500W.
USB 3 is meant to be fully backward compatible to USB2
My non windows 10 problems are with the 1500W and QTR, Paul’s Claria profiles and the first and last inch of the print suffering major deterioration in quality, currently printing 16.5in images on A3+ to get round the problem.
Cheers
Nigel in the UK

On the Win 10 PC I experimented with a USB 2 cable worked. I think 3 is supposed to be backward compatible.
Be sure the standard Epson drivers are downloaded and installed. Windows sometimes has abbreviated drivers in it for popular printers. At least in the past those have not had all the same features as the official Epson drivers.

Does anyone know how to print from Epson 1400 and 2100 (2200) printers.
Just bought a new PC as other one crashed. I tried the USB 2 cable to no avail.
The ports on the new PC are USB 3
