MIS on the PHOTO EX

MIS on the PHOTO EX

2002-03-12 by ufg2002

Hello,

I am new to the B&W printing on the Epson printers. I have an old
Photo EX I am planing on using the MIS inks, probably the Continuous
inking system. I am using a Macintosh computer. Has anyone any
experience with this combo? How well does it work? Looking at the MIS
site the work flows there seem to be more geared to Windoze computers,
am I over looking something?

Which inks give the best results?

Thanks for any input....I am getting excellent results on my 1270 in
color and would like to do B&W this way also.

Harrison.

Hello Harrison,

I am using the Photo EX with the MIS VM inkset and the MIS CFS
inking system on Epson Archival Matte paper. I use Paul Roark's
curves for the Epson 1200 with some minor changes. My
platform is a PowerMac G4 with serial PCI card as the Photo EX
is not a USB printer.I am getting very good results.
