No experience, but Lyson has told me:

"The latest Canon machines are the priority with our R&D people. We see them
as offering great potential to our customers as they are of a quality
comparable to the latest Epson machines but with the obvious benefits of the
Canon technology (switchable print heads, individidual ink tanks, chip free
cartridges).

Our first ink offering will be Small Gamut, followed by one of our Archival
Colour inks which will most likely be the Fotonic inks.
I expect to have something within a month or two, although as you can
appreciate with any new product development, it is not possible to offer a
definite date at this point in time."

It's a shame that the ink R&D boys can't move a bit faster, the S800 has been
out for a year and is already replaced.

The new Epson 950 will need yet another ink development as they have now gone
down to 2 picolitre drops.

The poor old 3rd party ink manufacturers juist can't keep up...
